Judgement help

My husband had a judgement against him for a medical bill 2 years ago. We paid the judgement off, in full, got a "satisfaction of judgement" letter and thought we were done.
I pulled our credit reports a few weeks back, and the judgement is still showing on his CR. I thought once a debt was paid, it had to be removed, or am I thinking wrong.....again?

wrong. forward your satisfaction letter to the credit agencies
wrong. forward your satisfaction letter to the credit agencies and they will update at "satisfied". it will be removed after 7 years.
