Safety info regarding ThinkCash and 1st Bank of Delaware
Date: Sat, 09/19/2009 - 09:36
I recently applied for a small installment loan with ThinkCash, who is backed by FBOD....I have dealt with FBOD before, and never had a problem.
But as I get older and since I was a victim of identity theft last year (2 online PDL's were opened in my name and the companies STILL want their money from ME!), I got worried when I read the privacy statement on both TC and FBOD's websites that said they will sell my info to a 3rd party
Does this mean they are selling them my checking account info, because you can't apply without it. And, if they are - what are the chances of the 2 illegal PDL companies I am still dealing with of getting ahold of this information? I don't want to have to close down a checking account and file fraud and ID theft charges with my state's attorney general and FTC departments again!
Can someone help me?

Well, Think Cash is a terrible company to get a loan from, they are ruthless, heartless, shady, should I go on? I wouldn't put it past them to give out your account info but I don't know for sure. Maybe there are other members who will reply to this and give you more insight.
I didn't get the loan, so that's a good thing I guess, lol.

Oh yeah, the interest they charge is unbelievable, and they are extremely difficult to deal with if you are late on a payment or if you default. They are one of the worst (if not the worst) lender out there.
Any help anyone? I tried to call thinkcash and see if they just
Any help anyone? I tried to call thinkcash and see if they just erased all your info when you were denied a loan, but no one answers UNLESS you have a loan already.
I am just worried that my checking account info is out there, floating around in cyberspace.
