paydayonline.com threats

Ok, so I received a letter, at my employer's address, today from paydayonline.com. They are saying that my file is being transferred to their legal department and a civil suit will be filed within five days of the date of the letter, plus they added $120 for an NSF fee and $50 for court costs to my total.
Has anybody dealt with them before that has any advice? I could care less if they try to sue me I just wonder if they are serious and I need to hire a lawyer or are they a company that just likes to make threats.

Civil suits need to be filed in the district court where you live! They would have to hire an attorney in your state or travel there. They would also need to be licensed in most states. Just a hollow threat in my opinion also!
