HELP I don't know what to do!!!!!

I have 8 payday loans that i have overpaid but can't get them to stop taking the money out of my account. I have been reading up on this site what types of letters should I send these companies which i might add they are all illegal. I live in the state of Kentucky. So what type of letter should I send them asking them to please stop. I have tried by phone but that doesn't seem to work.
