I wanted to verify that these lenders are illegal in Kentucky. I was trying to find out what place it says exactly that Internet payday loans are illegal in Kentucky. I have 3 and my fiance has 2...I know, stupid right?!

I have one with:
Clearwater Bay Marketing: borrowed 200 paid 300
One Click Cash: borrowed 350 paid 420
Ameriloan: borrowed 200 paid 350
His two are through
DJR Group, not sure what he actually got, or paid
MMG not sure about this one either

I also do not have any physical addresses on these places...can anyone help me??

I am going to close my account out monday, that way they can not take any more of my money, and I am sending out C&D letters. I am trying to find out if any of these places can do a wage assignment as well. Any info would be beneficial.
Thanks!:)

you can include in the C and D letters that you revoke any previous wage assignments you may or may not have signed. in the thread at the beginnign of the payday loan help section, there is a link called " dealing with illegal lenders" and it has all the info you would need.
I live in KY too. Yes all online payday lenders are illegal here because they are not liscensed. KY does not liscense out of state/country companies. On the search bar at the top of the page search for Kentucky house bill 444~ something should come up~ there is also a link ky payday laws if you search for it also~

Thanks so much. Man, we have gotten into a mess. Did you close your bank account? I was reading on here some of these stories, which have scared me to death. I am not sure if closing my account is what I should do. I bank with old national, but I don't know if they can reopen the account when they try to debit my account. I saw that some have used the ACH blocker, and when I looked online, it was there. I am terrified about what to do next.

You REALLY need to close that account, especially reading the lenders you have, One Click Cash is a very sly lender, they have several dba names and will use that to their advantage, as soon as they learn you are on to them they will debit the crap out of your account, over and over and over, under different names, so blocking them isn't an option. If you absolutely positively can not close that account then you need to speak directly to the branch manager and tell him/her it is imperative that they place a hard debit block on that account. Your account will never be safe again now that these lenders have your account number, it could be weeks or even months down the road when you think they have long forgotten you that out of the blue they will attempt another debit.
