The only good thing you're liable to find here is that people have finally worked themselves free from the PDL trap. You'll find nothing good about PDLs. I would 'second' what the others have said and tell you and/or your boyfriend NOT to get involved with payday loans. If he needs money, could he take a temporary second job, make an advance on his paycheck, or got to a credit union or bank for a small loan? Does he have anything he could sell at a yard sale or on e-bay? Please, PLEASE find some other alternative to payday loans; all you have to do is search the stories on this site to see that PDL's are not the way to go.

Can he take a loan from a parent or sibling? When my daughter got into trouble, I paid the payment to keep the bank from repoing her car that she needs to get back and forth to work. Try going to catholic charities or another charity that helps people for a one-time problem.

Sell old clothes, have a garage sale, participate in paid studies, sell old dvd's/CDs to stores that want them, sell back any unwanted jewlery, get another part time job, borrow the money from a friend, relative, etc. but don't ever get into the payday loan cycle. It is a horrible mess for most and NOT worth it!
