I recently went to geico to get a quote on auto insurance, a day or so later they emailed me that my quote was affected by a report they pulled from transunion with the normal "you have a right to request your report 60 days from this notice". Mail or call for your free report.

Everything on my report is close to the 7 year mark and should be dropping off my report. If an item says its reprted until 4/12 will it drop off in 4/12 or not until 5/12? Thanks

Some guy called my phone from A new York number. He said his name so fast I couldn't even understand it. I think I might of caught mark?? He said something about fraudulent check and I needed to call him back or he would forward all my information to my parishes jurisdiction?? He give me 48 hrs to call him back. (left all this on my voicemail that I did save. Should I just ignore??

I followed the advice here on this forum and in response to my original thread and have had AMAZING results. Those others having issues with Payday Loans - read the forum and use the advice given here - it works! Stand your ground, do what they tell you and don't be afraid!!!! I sent cease and desist letters in regards to all of my loans and the phone calls have stopped!!!!!!!!!!!!

I received a voice mail at my work from this number at 5:15pm last night - 620-664-6192. Said that this is the last time he is calling me and that he has received the information needed from my employer. I am hoping my employer has not fallen for whatever he is going to do. I have gotten scammed at least three times this year and have had to close my account twice. Could someone tell me more on how to get these letters you are talking about below PLEASE! Also before the guy hung up he said goodbye and good luck....need to know what to do and where i can find these forms???

Hi- I have 9 loans out and live in Las Vegas, NV. I had to take my first loan out January 2010 and haven't been able to bounce back. The whole take out a loan, can't pay even the interest and have to take out another loan to cover scenario. I'm drowning in debt and I'm only 20 years old. I stress constantly and don't know what to do.

I took out 4 payday loans last year and I live in NH. Just wondering if anyone can help me out. I think I have over paid on all of them. I had to stop my direct deposit on my bank and just left the account open with no money going into it. I'm so scared that I will get in trouble.

This is too overwhelming for me. My adhd and dyslexia is not helping me at all in understanding these papers and am driving myself crazy. I hardly understand my credit report, what to do, send, say. Is there anyone that I can hire that will look at my credit report and tell me what to do. Im trying to clean up my credit so that in a few years I can qualify for a mortgage or a car financing.

I've read alot of the posts and it has all been very helpful. I just wanted to make sure I understood everything right. If I live in Connecticut and Payday loans are illegal in this state, that means that even though I've paid over $600 on a $250 dollar loan, I dont actually have to pay them anything? Will not paying have any affect on my credit score?

I received a call from my mother back in October that someone from PRG had called her about a debt of mine. When I called them they claimed to be collecting for a loan I had previously. I set up payments with them and paid a total of 675.00. The debt was around 1500.00. I did not ask for them to send me anything in writing which I now know I should have. I saw a post on here about them and cancelled the card that the payments to them were being charged too.
