OK Here is my situation. Let me be specific, my wife has some debt, let me clarify this there was a credit card that is in her name only, but it is both of our debt. I have always intended to pay it but we are a single income family, I don’t want to give excuses but the bottom line times are tough and we couldn’t make payments. Hi, I received a call from them last week claiming they are having a warrant against me for a payday loan from 2 years ago from sds processing. A Ms. Henderson told me that it was already processed. I said ok I will have my paperwork see you in court. This loan I paid at least the principal back on. I am from Massachusetts. Is this an idle threat or should I expect a summons or warrant as she put it. This woman spoke to my daughter the day before and asked her if I had gotten my WArrant. Is that legal?? For years we have attempted to pay any disposable monies toward my husband's student loans. Due to numerous medical and hardship deferments coupled with collection fees, his 30k loan has grown to 110k. I feel like a rube for never realizing that you could negotiate a payment based upon what is considered fair and reasonable. Our request to stop the garnishment was somehow lost in the mail (Imagine that) and the AGW has gone through.

I am being threatened by a collection agency saying they are suing me for check fraud! When I tried to pay they said they would only take payments in the form of a card and those payments could only be drafted out at a future date by the company. Someone please help me, what do I do?

Got a call from Michael Malone @ CSMS- Check Systems Management Services- about a payday loan from 4 years ago thru Payday 1. He is threatening on behalf of a network a civil suit for non-payment involving over $4000- he will let me get on with things for $300. But they will be sending someone out tomorrow to my house with something to sign... anybody heard of them..?

All, I recently received a collection letter from Capital Management services about a credit card debt that they are collecting for Resurgent Capital Services. I have already been through all the debt validation with Resurgent, LVNV and a few of their sister companies. My credit report is showing LVNV and I have disputed this in the past with them and with the credit reporting agency. I received a verified from the credit reporting agency, either experian or Equifax but it is showing as disputed by consumer.

So, I took out a Western Sky loan in June which was immediately sold/transferred to Cash Call. I have NEVER missed or been late on a payment. My payment for this month (February) was due on the 1st, however, I was planning on making the payment on the 17th. This didn't happen as I had other, more important expenses (although Cash Call thinks they are the most important bill) like car payment, groceries, etc.

Hi, my husband just pulled his credit report and it has a repossession on it (original creditor is Ford Motor Corp.) from his now ex wife. At the time the car was purchased, he was stationed in Germany and she was in Texas. He was responsible for half the payments, which he was sending to her every month. She wasnt using the money to pay the bills and the car ended up being repossessed. She did nothing to get the car back. She still lives in TX and when he came back from Germany, he moved back in with his parents in PA, which is the address he uses now.

I got my Chexsystems report and as expected, there are several inquiries from Teletrack. However, there are also several inquires from a company called Microbilt. Has anyone heard of this company? I did a Google search but can't really find much. I assume that they are another agency that qualifies/approves people for PDLs but I'm not sure. Just curious...
