I am new to the forum and have read through most everything and haven't found the exact answers to my questions. Here is my situation: We have been doing the Dave Ramsey plan for 2 years now and have paid off a lot of our credit cards.

Has anyone used this compay called Accredited Debt Relief to help settle there debt? I have looked them up in the BBB and they are not a member but they do have a " A" standing. I also checked the American Fair Credit Council and they are a member. They are also a member of the TASC ( The Association of Settlement Compaines). Would you all think this is a legit company? I also e-mailed the TASC and got a responce through e-mail verifying they are a legit company.

So I dealt with a payday loan with National Payday for $400, which was to be able to get my over until my next payday. As I have done PDLs in the past, I didn't expect something like what happened to my account to happen, as everything on the site told me that my information was secured. However, that was when everything began to hit a slippery slope. I had another PDL out which I could pay up in full had this not occurred.

Pds Ameriloan $100 (first loan from them) Lokata cash$ 450 (second loan from them) United cash loans$500 (second loan from them) I live in california and I am need need of help. I owe about a total of $1000 to these pdls. I am overdrawn with my bank and next week these pdls will put me more in debt to the point I can never recover( at least for a long time). I am willing to pay both principle and penalty fees but I need at least 3 months of time. What should I do? Can I call them on my own to make payment schedules? I am a ship sinking fast.

Good Evening, I have a question regarding statute of limitations and I apologize if this has been addressed already. I have 2 entries on my credit report. Both are well past the statute of limitations but have not fallen off my report yet.The "date updated" keeps reporting to a more current date, however.But the date it will be removed from my credit report has not changed, thankfully. I recently went and applied for a mortgage but have to have these taken care of before we can proceed. I did send each of them the DV letter and adding that the debt was well pass the SOL.

I also am stuck in payday trap, getting loans to keep up on other loans, now they have taken over my paycheck. Getting late fees and overdraft fees at bank. :(Would like to know how to get a consolidate loan pay days. Or if it is better to close bank account. I have been trying to get a large loan, but came up empty because of the bad credit.

Has anyone heard of or have dealt with Clark Daniels and Cunningham LLC? they called my home and left message that they need to discuss something about an affidavit and for me to have my lawyer contact them. I have searched them online and they seem to be a debt collector but not sure and they are located in NY, I am in NC.

I attempted to contact a bank which had given a credit card to an impostor using my SS number and D.O.B. I have contacted the FCC and even a police report but the collection companies still hound me for this debt. Many have taken the notice and respectably removed me from their books. I only have one company which is still persistant. I am told that it is I who have the burden of proof laid on me, is this true? Shouldnt the original company have to show where I had allegedly rtaken on this debt? thanks for ALL your help, JW

Hi, I have two payday loans with instant loans usa and instant loans now. Even though this two companies are two in one, they treated the loan as two separate loans to charge more interest. I would like to know if they are legal or illegal in Texas. instant loans usa: original loan $300 paid $200 instant loans now: original loan $300 paid $180 your help is very appreciated, Thanks in advance. :D

Hi guys -- today at my new work number I received a call from nationwide credit -- I NEVER gave them this number -- and when I spoke with the guy (from india) -- I asked him how he got the number since I know It was never listed -- he lied -- said it was in the file -- I told him I am not allowed to take calls at work and to remove the number -- I verified the home address and then hung up -- I have spoken to them previously and tried to settle but they are too high -- any ideas -- what if they call again -- I wrote down the name and phone number as well as date and time -- thanks gu
