is it when chase bank (OC) assigns a debt for someone else(like a CA or attorney) to collect on their behalf?

Hello, I would like that somebody help me with this if is possible. I have a debt from beginning of 2001, a collection agency sue me for it on 2008, unfurtunatelly I did not went to court and they won the case. However, today I received a letter from my job where they informed me that this collection agency is collecting 25% of my salary, there is anything I can do to object this? Thank you in advance for all the information you can provide me with.

can i still win even if i admit to an allegation but they dont have original signed contract or statements to back up their allegation?

I have been in the vicious cycle of payday loans for about a year now and just saw this site existed today and really need your help. Today I figured enough is enough and wanted to do some sort of consolidation. From what I have been reading, something I did earlier was probably stupid, but at least I found this site. I have paid thousands...probably 6-8k in interest over the past year. My current situation: I live in Pennsylvania and work in NJ. When I began taking out payday loans, I was living with my parents, who also live in PA.

Is it possible to deny allegation when filing my answer even if attorney has Orignial Creditor's sworn affidavit? I would like to see if i can deny the allegation when answering the summon so that they need to validate the debt with statements, signed contract agreement, etc

Hello everyone. I had about 6 Internet payday loans that I were between $100-$250 each principle. My bank account was closed because my check book actually got stolen while I was traveling, so my bank opened a new account for me. This was back in May/June. My state info says PDLs are legal and "Criminal Action: Prohibited (Unless check returned due to closed account)" What do I do? I'm in ALABAMA - GRAYSVILLE . I don't want to go to jail for this!! Please I need all the info I can get.:confused: HEre are the lenders.

I've been struggling with several PDLs since Christmas of last year. At first it was to get over a hump, then it was to pay off another PDL, then it was to pay off THAT PDL, to turn around and renew the first one I had paid off because I was in the hole.

I have an IL Check N Go payday loan due to be taken out of my checking account this Thu (9-1) by EFT. Allowing the EFT to go through is going to throw me into a huge financial mess, so I called Check N Go to see if I could possibly make other arrangements - they told me the would only work with me on an alternative payment plan if the loan went into default and they will not stop the EFT on their end. I can & do intent to pay the debt back, I just can't do it full on the 9-1.

Almost two years ago I made the mistake of taking out payday loans. After having several thousand dollars taken out of my account, I began researching and found this site. Using this site I was able to come to terms with 4 of 7 of the pdl. Of the three left, only one still bothers me, Pack Management/Bahama Management. I have sent DV and Cease/Desist emails to , letters Pack Management/Bahama Managementto FTC and my AG. But Pack Management/Bahama Management still calls and leaves no message.

Hello, I ended up taking out a payday loan to relieve some financial stress between jobs. I ended up in a cycle of getting new ones, just to pay off the other ones and now I'm behind. I live in Pennsylvania and I'm not too sure of the laws here. Here is a list of my creditors and amounts: Great Plains: $400 My Cash Now: $400 Yellowdale: $200 US Fast Cash: $300 I need help to know how to get out of this vicious circle. I am in the process of trying to close my checking account to stop them from debiting them, but is it legal for me to do that? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
