Has any every gotten a refund from these payday loans One Click Cash Ameriloan Spot On Loans Extrafunds I have all over paid for them according to Maine's Law. I did file a complaint with the Consumer Credit regulation office and they sent them out letter stating I was owed a refund. Just wondering if they really do send you a refund one for overpaying.. or am I'm just out of luck?

My fiancee and I both need to rebuild our credit. His credit is better than mine, but neither of ours is in healthy shape. We've paid off all outstanding debts and the only thing either of us is paying on each month are student loans. We recently switched to Bank of America for our banking because we moved an hour away from our hometown and it is getting a little difficult to get our banking done when we can't get to our bank. BoA offers a secured card, but I've heard numerous times and from various internet sources that the BoA secured card is extremely difficult to obtain.

I have what I assumed was a payday loan through American Credit Line.com ($400), though it appears it may be a "credit line" installment loan based on the wording of the statement they sent me. I was hoping to work out terms with them but before I contact them, I was hoping to track down their license information. They have a Houston, Texas address, but are not listed in the state's database under any name.

I have had three differnt people call me in the last two months. i had a guy call me today his name was stephen anderson said he was calling for cash advance. said i defaulted on my loan and if i dont take care of it now that i was going to jail. i asked him what lender it was for and he said that it was cash advance he couldnt tell me the exact lender said they have over 234 over the united states. i no i am defaulted with 3 lenders i no one it is loan shop online i have talked to them today.

So NCO has started calling now. I've seen a few references to them in the forums but the search feature won't let me search for just "NCO". Are they for Capital One or others? I'm down to Capital One, BOA and one Citi. We had 2 Capital One and just settled one of them but they said the other one was not eligible for settlement. ?? Curious what kind of attitude/process I can expect from NCO.

My mother-in-law was the primary signer of my husband's student's loans from years ago. After we got married we contacted AES to start payment only to be told that we weren't authorized to have any of the information because he wasn't the primary signer. Later, we got calls for his mother although we lived in a different state but no one would talk to us even as the co-signer. She has never paid any payments.

Just an FYI to those out there feeling like there is no end. It's been 2 years since my payday loan debacle. I followed the advice given out here and am a new person now. All my payments were always up to date so the principle was already paid. I closed my checking account. I sent out letters as instructed to all loan companies saying they werent getting another dime and how they owed me my overpayments and I am fine now. I even got a refund from one of them. Sure, I got some crazy calls along the way and still get a couple but eventually they stop. Thank God I found this site.

JHS MARKETING -- this is one of 8 lenders I am dealing with. I got a PIF agreement from 2 of the 8, an offer for a refund from one, but I had never paid this lender JHS so I needed a payment arrangement. (My job is slow. I am currently 1099'd and my boss pays me when she feels like it - hence the loans in the first place. I am trying like heck to clear all this up since I have a new, much better job I start 9/1.) . I since found out I only owe them the PRINCIPAL that is $300.
