i was sued by midland fundind for a credit card from sears that was over $6,000 that i owed. i didnt kno i was being sued until a couple days before the initial court date. i showed up & asked to have it post poned because i was not informed of being sued properly in the first place.

I have been paying Atlantic Credit and Finance on a reg basis for 2 years now. I missed one payment and they told me that if I don't make both payments this month that they will need to full balance due in 5 days. Can they do this????

Can someone advise me what to do...I live in Michigan. I have a creditor wanting to renew a judgement against me. I have tried in earnest over the years to try and settle for a reasonable amount for an amount that originally started @ $890 and is now a whopping $3000 and they have refused to negotiate or take what I was offering. At the end of November I lost my job and was without income for 6 months before being hired at the beginning of May at a small retail store. I informed Chase when I lost my job and explained my situation and that I would make a payment when I could.

Can the cash store sue? they have called mes everal times saying they are suing me for like doubt the amount of the loan. called my work told the secritary everything. so of course she went a blabbed. they told her they were suing for fraudulent checks or something like that. they never sent mail, have called me my daughter and my work saying they are suing me. What can I do about it? I dont have 600 dollars to pay them.

I have informed them that I do not wish to be contacted by phone. They claim I owe a debt that I do not owe. I have constantly asked them to send me a copy of the owed debt that they never mention what it is. I have said that they are harrassing me constantly calling me even after I asked them to stop calling. HOW IN THE WORLD DO YOU GET THESE SCUMBAGS TO QUIT their harrassment.

I have dealt with an SRA Associates trying to collect on a Dell account. I wanted to deal with the company that owned the debt and when dealing with SRA, I recorded a conversation with a rep of SRA who told me that they do not own the debt or buy debt. I then told him that I wanted to contact the orginal owner of the debt and deal with them instead. When I called Dell, their rep told me that SRA owns the debt, made her repeat the answer once again to make sure of what she had said.
