i am writing to you because i a few outstanding payday loans that are now in collection. I am on a fixed income of social security disability, and am in such a financial bind that i cannot pay anyone now. I live in New York. What should I do.

You continue to call my telephone number for someone named Eric, no Eric lives here or has ever lived here, I don't even know anyone named Eric. Stop calling. This has been referred to the FTC. remove my numbers PHONE NUMBERS REMOVED

I just signed up to monitor my credit reports and there is a collection account from Medicredit in teh amount of $1,733 (now increased to $1,791). I have no knowledge of this debt. Who can I discuss with?

I just found out that I have an account with AFNI (Verizon) from 2003 per running my credit report. I called them see what this about and they said they will take a settlement to clear this issue. Arent they in violation of Standards of Limit (SOL). It is 8 years old!

I am so sure this was paid off in a bankruptsy I had BUT because the firm had so many diff companies buy them I could not get a valid piece of proof!!! I live in Virginia and like everyone else I have gotten caught up in this payday/short term loan hell due to financial issues. I have the following loans: 1. Plain Green ($1,200 Borrowed -$351.24 Paid So Far - $1,103 Still Owed) - *Opened after they became Plain Green 2. American Web Loan - ($700 Borrowed - $630 Paid So Far - $700 Still Owed) 3. AAA Payday Loan - ($800 Borrowed - $800 Paid So Far - $1000 Still Owed ) (Has been extended 4 times) 4. Sonic Cash - ($300 Borrowed - $0 Paid So Far - $405.00 Owed) 5.

So i had an issue with proactive as well. They sent me a new package every freakin' month (very excessive) and billed me $50 for each one (absurd). I lost my wallet and reset my accounts. I also canceled my subscription with them. They sent me another one but didn't have an account to bill me for. They sent a bill through the mail. I refused to pay because I didn't want the product. They transferred my bill to sko brenner. Has anyone else been getting phone calls from (000) 000-0000 with an automated message saying that I should call some number or pay online?

Hello All, I've just talked to a very nice lady from a The Virginia Fair Loans org. She gave me the statue for illegal payday loans in Virginia. Statue 6.2-1825 Class 6 Felony. It is a class 6 felony to lend PDL to Virginia residents through the internet or other unlicensed lenders! She also said that since it is a felony it is up to me weather I pay them back the principle or nothing. I'm going to pay them back but at my terms even if it is a small amount each month! I did put that in my letters that I sent out to these illegal lenders.

Hello, all I am having some troubles with a company called Check N Go. Due to some medical issues, I had to take out an installment loan with these guys (the office I dealt with is in Delaware btw) and have been able to pay most of it until recently when again modern medicine and a frail body has managed to make life hell again. They had a check for a different amount than what I owed (you are supposed to give them a new check every time).

We have been paying for 2 years but they haven't dealt with companies and we just found out that it went out of business. Now we wonder what the heck where they put our money? We are out of 10K.. I'm so upset about it.
