OK Folks, here's the skinny. My wife and I were discharged from Chapter 7 Bankruptcy in April of this year. We just got a letter dated May 31 of this year from the trustee informing us that three creditors filed proofs of claim. I will be contacting my BK attorney about this and hoping it's much ado about nothing. So what exactly is happening here?

Ok, I need your help! I have a Capital One account that has been charged off. I have been currently paying this account monthly through a debt management plan. I received an email from the debt management company when I enrolled that since my account was charged off, Capital One agreed to accept payments through the debt management company for payment convenience, and that if I did not pay as agreed they would continue collection activity. I have paid on time, every month the agreed amount. I even spoke with a collection agency Wm. W. Siegel & Assoc.

My husband lost his job in June of 2010. I was a SAHM of 2 boys at the time. Since that time, we have both seen searching for fulltime jobs with no luck. I have a parttime job and my husband still draws unemployment. Most of my debt is up to date in payments. But, one huge debt ($22,000) on a Citibank credit card is delinquent. I have made payments as I could since the Fall. But, we are barely scraping by to pay mortgage, electricity, water, food, gas, etc. I couldn't afford what they wanted per month. Citi called constantly. I offered to send a certain amount but they wanted more.

This Christina keeps calling me at work at stateing that if I don't pay them $575.53 now they are going to take me to court and them I would have to pay over 5,000 when I only barrowed $200.00. She wants me to fax here a coppy of my Drivers License and go get a prepaid card to pay off this amount. I asked her to e-mail me or send me a coverletter or something showing me the company where she was me from and she refused. I started getting suspicious when I asked her her number and she said she didn't know it and I told her that what she meant that she didn't know her number.

I am trying to get a debt consolidation loan, but the bank i went to declined me because my credit score is low. How do i get a consolidation loan if my credit score is low? I pay about $1300 a month towards my debt and it seems as if its not getting any smaller. How can i fix this?

can a online cash place do check fraud in ohio? Our account got hacked and we had to close the account. Had a company call and stated that its a federal crime and that we were turned in for check fraud.

I have 2 payday loans, one with Citicash Loans & Americash in Illinois/Cook County. Well they have sent in the wage garnishment notices to my employer and now my employer has started deducting my wages. My lawyer has sent revocation letters three times to the pdl companies and my employer. Well the revocation letters are being ignored and my employer is still deducting my funds and the creditors are still calling me. What recourse do I have if any? Please note that the pdl's have not received wage deduction orders against me and I am not and have not been summons to court for either loan.
