I got a loan from 247 green street three days before its due my mom pass away on top of that a fake payday loan takes 846 out of my account I called them they wont work with me I have loaned mini times and have never been late with them what can I do

I am going through the process of ridding myself of the payday loan hell trap. I had quite a few online loans from various companies that were illegal in my state. I used some information I found on here (thank you everyone, this site is a life saver) to get me started. I closed my checking account, sent out letters, etc. I have received replies from a couple, haven't heard from others (which I am hoping means it just disappears, haha) but there are a couple who keep calling me. One in particular is MyCashNow.com or there collector now, Cash Protection Depot.

Lost my job on Feb. 2009, went with a debt settlement company, settled the Disney account and kept depositing to settle the CitiBank. Got a Complaint last June 2010; and 2 Request for Entry of Default, one 3/11/2011 and another on 5/11/2011. My company is trying to settle with them, but they want more than I have; I only have $8,000. What can I do now, because I didn't answer the complaint.

I would like to make payment arrangement for a 100.00 a month. I already sent a 100.00 for May. Please sent me a new statement. Thank you Jon

I posted this earlier under unregistered, but couldn't find the post so decided to register as I have read a lot of good advice and plan on coming here regularly anyway. I foolishly took out payday loans because my credit is poor. I was moving so needed moving money, rent money for a partial month plus the next month's rent. I didn't want the checks to bounce so took out a small payday loan but because the amount really wasn't large enough, I took out another. Then I needed new tires and ended up taking two more. Now I have four and the fees alone are killing me.

I'm a consultant in the oil & gas business, therefore I'm self-employed. I make very good money (over $250k year). About the time I was starting a new business and the same time the oilfield crashed I had to have lower back surgery and it did not work, I'm in worse shape now than before the surgery. I have kelp working thought the pain until I fell a few weeks ago and the Company won't let me come back to work until I get a Doctors release. I had 2 cat scans and an MRI and the doctor told me I had 2 disks in my neck that had to be fixed before I would quite fall.

This is in Colorado: We had a debt that was arranged three years ago one day prior to going to court because of a summon. We have met this arrangement down to the last dollar except $43.00 which the collection office will not take because they say we owe more. According to our records that is not the case. However, we have since found out that even thought we made an arrangement and did not extend an answer to the court a judgment was filed. It is the 8% interest on the judgement that is in dispute, one because we did not know about it, and it was never communicated to us ever.

Should I take the 1st offer from a C/A? I've been making payments for 5 months and now they want to settle for 55% of the orignal balance.... They are not taking into account of the payments made either!! If i do not settle, they told me that it would be turned over to the attorney to seek further action as permited by law.
