Can I dispute a payment that I made to a PDL (overpayment) with my prepaid credit card company?

who should i trust as far as debt help for payday loans? does anyone know any trustworthy companies?

I live in NJ and have 7 payday loans (insane, I know, I kick myself everyday for this). I have been paying off the fees and am now to the point that pretty much my whole paycheck is going to them and I can't pay anything else. After researching (much on your website) I am planning to go to my bank today and close my account (or at least do a hard debit block if they won't close it). The next step I know would be to send the ACH revocation letters. That is where I am stuck. I would rather do this on my own that go to a consolidation company.

Ok, so I took everyones advice here, closed my bank account, as stated in some post in this forum, my bank was actually VERY helpful and put a stop to it immediately! :D I also sent the revocation letters. Just started to get replies back. Here is what I got this morning from SpotonLoans(PDLventures) and its pretty typical from what I have seen on other posts.

I have been getting calls at work as well as my boss at work, my daughter at college, my sister in law and a friend from Global stating they have a claim and need to file and serve me with it. When I call the number given back, the recording states to put in extension or dial 0. I dial 0 but it goes to a voicemail. What is this place? Is it legal for them to call everyone I know including my daughter?

How do I changed my user name ? I have looked all over the edit profile and I can't find where to change this....... :confused:

a deposit was made in my name by someone, there are four adults and three teenagers and two children above the age nine. A deposit was made into our account for 350.00. Noone has admitted to the transaction and every other week our account is deducted 105.00. this has gone since 01/14/2011 which comes to a total of so far $865.00 has been withdrawn from our account. In order to get this matter cleared please do not withdraw any monies from our account and if for some reason you receive a payment after 04/22/2011, please reverse the funds back into our account.
