Need the name of a good Christian debt collection Agency

Hello, I live in Texas and I keep getting calls from someone who claims to be an attorney with Davis and Clark, number is 1-888-245-0140. He always asks if I have been served with papers or a summons yet, and that I am going to have charges of Theft of Services pressed against me for a payday loan that I had to default on about two years ago.

Chase bank agreed to a short-sale several months ago and I paid the total principal due at closing. Now G.C. Services is calling and saying there is a $26,000 debt. (probably interest and fees) They want me to fax them my short sale closing statement. I told them "no". She said they will keep harassing me and hung up on me. Did I do the right thing?

I agreed to allow citibank to automatically withdraw from my bank account to pay my credit card payment (to pay-off within 5 years, no longer using card and apr is locked to lower interest) had to call them three times as to why its not being automatically withdrawn. now their telling me I broke the agreement and my APR has now increased and they cant do anything for me! and its all my fault??!!!

Can someone tell me if I have to pay taxes on the balance that was forgivin in the settlement? I've been sent a 1099-c for my business credit card I had with BOA. The account was settled 7/9/2010......I have no assets or anything,only a checking account with $18.00 in it. Thanks for any advice

I would like to put all my eggs in one basket and have one payment. I am not late on anything, just looking for a more realistic way. Going through a divorce and have been stuck with all the debt for the time being.

I don't even know where to begin, so I'll make it as short and sweet, as possible. A collection agency has purchased an old debt of mine (voluntary repossession of a vehicle). This was in early 2007. I was contacted off and on about this (rarely) until the end of last year (I always ignored them, when they contacted me, because I don't ow this new company anything as far as I'm concerned), when they came at me full force, including a court summons. I went to court and it was the strangest thing ever.

I received a letter back on 1-27-2011 for settlement and I want to know if I can still paid that amount of $50.00 current balabce was $398.31 if I can please let me know so I can seed you the money order.Thank You A.P.

I have 5 payday loans. They have already been returned and I desperately need to find a way to pay these back and get these off my record. I don't want to be sued or have my wages garnished

My bank has a garnishment of 4,000 dollars on my checking account, It came after judgement from another state, Can they take the whole amount even though I only have 800.00 in it now, and how long can they hold this garnishment on me..
