I received a letter from an attorney representing Midland Funding, LLC. I sent a certified letter asking 44 questions on the alleged debt with a 30 day demand for the return of the information. At exactly 30 days I received a letter stating who the original debtor was and nothing else. They did not answer my 44 questions. I do not recall the alledged debt with the original creditor. I should my next action be?

Hi, My court fines went to Alliance One and I set up payment plans with them for $75 x 8+ $31 final payment. Total of $631. When the person was looking up my information by name, they noticed another collection dating 2002 from another state. I informed them that I was not aware of such debt, and was here to take care of the court fine. That was the end of that and I set up payment plans. I later received a letter showing the above payment plan and a total of $556(because I made a $75 payment on the phone).

Has anyone recently dealt with TLC FASTCASH or Cash Transfer Centers? I sent off the revoke letters to revoke the ach & the wage assignment. I keep getting calls from Madiline Drew from E-care even after I have talked to her & they have emailed my job. When I talked to payroll in HR they said they had to honor the wage assignment if it was sent to them. I am giving her copies of my revoke letter Monday hoping that she doesn't honor it. Then I am filing complaints with everyone I can. Anyways, just wanted to know if anyone from wisconsin has dealt with either company at all at all?

Hi I need to send a letter to a creditor. What department needs to receive the letter. The credit department or whom. I am in TX and have had a car loan on my credit for 11 years in which the origioal creditor keeps selling to other collection agencies. Isnt the SOL up on this. I live in TX

I am having a major problem with a payday loan I took out in December 2009. Paydaywiz.com gave me 2 loans. The first one rolled over several times but I paid it in full. I took out a second one, it rolled over 3 times and then I closed my bank account. They had Smith Haynes and Watson contact me in March 2010. At that time, I sent a certified signature required letter stating they needed to validate the loan. They went away and I never heard from them. In December 2010, SHW gave it a new reference number and tried to collect again. I asked them again to validate the debt, they did not.

I have 12 entries on my Experian CR from Municipal Services Bureau (MSB) for parking tickets of various types in Hawaii. In 2008 I became seriously ill and could no longer drive. I had a friend sell the vehicle for me; he however did not submit the required transfer form. These tickets are for 40-60 dollars each, so I am looking at $550 or more. I can appeal the tickets, but they sure make it hard.
