Hi, I have two credit cards that have gone to collection agencies-$14,000 and $6,000. I am now able to pay off two of the largest accounts at a discount-$6,000 and $3,000 respectively. Both are approaching six years old. What is SOL in Washington State on credit card debt and when does the calendar start? I am trying to increase my credit score and I want to pay a certain creditor, but the phone # that is listed is not currently in service. How do I fix this and get this off of my credit report?

It seems that whenever a CA contacts me and I send them a debt validation letter I never hear from them again and a month or so later another CA will contact me and try to collect on that debt. This has happened twice now. The first time the CA wrote me back and said they could not validate and were sending my case back to the original lender and I never heard from them again.

I have a unsecured loan with Benificial that we have had for about 4 years, it is going no where. Can I offer Beneficial less money to pay this loan off? We are not in default, the loan is current, we would like to get rid of this payment.

I recently received a letter emailed to my government employee e-mail web page from a law firm called Castronova Law. I had a CASH CALL debt that I paid on for about 3 years. The orinigal loan was for $2600.00. The balance never went down. I became financially unable to continue paying them and have not made a payment for over a year. Alex the person claiming to be from the Law firm offered a settelment amount of $1189.00. I asked him for information on his law firm and he sent me the name of an attorney called Bret Yaples. Within one day he sent me a contract to sign a begin payments.

I currently have Payday Loan debt from 5 creditiors, all totaling about $3,000-4,000. I would like to consolidate these loans. Do you know of any companies that consolidate Payday Loans?

I posted over in PDL help, but don't seem to be getting any replies! I am a little shaken and do not know what to do so if anyone has any advice I would really appreciate it! This all started a few months ago with the Indian scammers calling me! Now they do not call anymore unless they want to harrass me about life! However, I got a call last week from someone and I should have never answered cuz I did not know the # they were calling from, but I hung up when they asked for me.

i owe 2 different collection agencies for medical bills is there a way to consolidate them together for one payment a month? i am a single mom that makes too much money to be on medical but my kids are on state medical. i cant afford 2 different payments a month.

i just got a colection notice from this place (rjm acquisition llc) claiming i dont know from where $1,012.81. from a bank of new york master card acc.I live in p.r. Inever had a master card. ho w did these poeple get my name and address . i am not going to pay for something that i have no nollige of i wil do what it takes to find out whats going on with this. another thing is that i never lived on the address thats on this bill.

I live in the state of Florida and I had Peachtree Law Center out of Co calling and threatening that I owe this $500 loan to Multiloan source. They even called my mother. I have never even heard from this PDL company that I owe them any money and now this collection agency is calling saying that I owe money. They are not nice and I asked them to send a letter validating the debt and they said I now owe $1200. I have never heard of either of these companies, but have now done research and I found Multiloan source however there is not an address of a phone # to call them to verify this debt.
