can they take all your money and leave you no money to live on and keep taking the money that you put in the bank, I do mean all money in the bank!!!!

Currently I am paying 25% of my check for student loans. I support 6 people so its hard. I tried paying one off at $350 a month, then the next one came along and wanted $400 and I could not pay. So they files for garnishment and have been getting the 25%. So now I cant pay anyone because I am broke. I am barely surviving check to check and need to see if there is any way to get the 25% reduced. I dont ming paying it off but this amount is killing me; literally. I am in default. Gettign worse with other people I owe nmoney to. I can not consolidate because I already did that.

My husband and I also used them, but we were referred to them by money mutual. After reading all these complaints we are going to close our checking account so they can't take any more money. Is there any kind of way we can take this up with them legally. They are misusing the payday loan system and need to be stopped

Hi I have been unsuccessful in finding out who owns my mortgage. In 2009 I tried to do a short sale with BOA and they kept denying the offer - then they said they sent it to Freddie Mac and when I called Freddie Mac they didn't have anything on me..eventually I found out it was supposed to go to Dyke Oneal and when I called them repeatedly I was told they didn't have any information on me either...now no one knows anything. I have had my property looked up and nothing shows on my property from anywhere other than it's for sale still. Any suggestions? Thank you.:confused:

I entered into a pay day loan with Cash Jar via the internet. I now find they are licensed in Belize and they tell me they are not governed by SC law. Is this true? I have filed a complaint with the SC Consumer Affairs Division but have not received a response. How much interest can they legally charge and what was the maximum amount they could have legitimately loaned. I am receiving harassing phone calls and need them to stop. I am also accruing interest at the rate of almost $7.00 per day.

I recently pulled my credit report and noticed a 'civil claim judgement' on it with plaintiff being Midland Funding LLC for the amount of close to $2000. I am not sure what this was, so I called them and they kept on insisting to give them my social security number. I told them that I would give them my name and if they can help me find out what this was, but they would not proceed further without my social security number, so I just hung up the phone. Can someone please help me on the next steps? I have no idea what this is and want to know how to get rid of this from my credit report.

I took out a payday loan from each of these companies last August. Afterwards I had to close my account because of fraudulant checks posting for online coupons and other random things. I started receving phone calls from someone who was obviously from another part of the world saying they were calling from a court house in Brooklyn NY and that I was going to have a jury trial and go to jail for not paying back these loans. I asked them to send an official notice via mail listing who the company was I owed. I never received anything but the calls never stopped.

It's been a long while since my last post here, but you all were a blessing to me when I was going through my own PDL drama. The only after-effect I deal with on occasion are PDL scammers who call me pretending to be from some crime unit or legal investigator, warning me of a "claim against my name and social security number" and pending lawsuit--even going as far as to give me a date and time that I will be "picked up to go to court" or that "papers will be forwarded to the my county". Funny thing is, they never have all their facts.
