Can they (payday loans) take me to court and get an order to garnish my wages? I had several months ago get one sent to my office by Flobridge to garnish my wages and my boss sent them a letter from our business telling them that until they have a court order they will not garnish my wages.

I received an email from Paul who works at money2advance.com( Community Credit Services) and he told me that due to my report to the BBB he was zeroing out my account and I owe nothing more!!! Thank you guy I feel so empowered I have made a small step and I have about 8 more to go!!!:D

I received a summons for a debt for a credit card. The original debt was $2000, now it is down for $3300 becuase of fees. I stopped paying all credit cards July of 2008 when I lost a job in an effort to keep my house. Fast forward to now, 2011, ended up losing the house this past June.

Hello! If anyone who reads this post can offer any advice regarding how to clean up my credit report and raise my credit score, I would greatly appreciate it. I pulled my credit report today in an effort to begin credit repair and am a little overwhelmed now to say the least. My current credit score is 505 (ouch). My credit report currently lists 27 separate items, thanks mostly to student loans. 20 of those accounts are student loans. Those 20 include the separate entry apparently made for each Stafford subsidized, unsubsidized and GradPlus loan for each semester of school.

Out of the blue, I started getting letters and calls from a CA on an old debt from over 15 years ago. I don't want them to try and make the debt current somehow. I haven't spoken to, or responded to their letters. What should I do to have the CA stop contacting me?

how do I get in touch with the BBB,FTC. I have just called the star cash loan, and they said they go by your application history to automatically send u a loan when you do not speak to them giving them authorization. I have put in a request to speak to the manager of the comapany, he/she probably won't even call me back. Should I just go to my bank and reverse the funs??

Hello, I have received a couple phone calls from a RORY from ROVO and associates who works with Frontier Financial Group. He states that I need to pay 3899 in full or I will be sued for my paying my best buy bill. This is the first time I have heard from anything having to do with my best buy account for 3 months. I just paid $180 on it in January and now they are telling me I am being sued because I defaulted on a credit card.
