I settled this dept with another dept collector and now Zwicker and Associates is trying to also collect on this dept I owed little over 1600 I settled for $850 I had a date pick out but had to change it but made the payment and now they think I still owe two payment of $850 what can I do :(

I just pulled a copy of my credit report. I have several collection accounts I want to pay off but they do not have a business name or contact. It just says "unregistered" or "unreported". There are account numbers but no name. How do I know who they are? I really want to pay them but without a name and contact info I am at a loss. They are for very small amounts of money ($19, $43, etc). It says they are closed, but the status says collection. They are between 3-5 years old. :confused::confused::confused:

Hi, My wife has been in debt settlement program for about a year in half she has now recieved documents from the courts saying chase is going to garnish here wages now she is not going to afford to pay the settlement company or pay the garnish wages what do we do next ? what can the settlement company do for us?

Ok, I am new here. I have a payday loan thru Global Group Holdings LLC /aka Midland Companies. I took out this "loan" around 02/2010 (yea that long ago) and have been paying $60.00 every 2 weeks on a $200.00 advance. I have been trying to get a hold of them to work out details on paying down the balance, but only get a answering machine. I have paid over $1560.00 ($60.00 a week X a min of 26 weeks= $1560.00) and I still owe the original balance of $200.00. I live in PA and did this over the internet. I need help and I am confused as to who to goto.

I just received a letter from Javitch, Block & Rathbone in Cleveland, OH, of which I am a resident, for a debt owed to Citibank in the amount of $5,001.89. I was paying this account a year ago under a payment plan with set terms. In July of last year I lost my job and called Citibank many times to inform them of my recent loss of employment and to get enrolled in a hardship program. I was told that I had to wait until the account was at least two months past due before I could enroll in any such program. I waited and then enrolled in a hardship program.

I sent a validation letter certified to a collection agency not knowing what the debt was for and they responded with a copy of the original contract (turned out to be a car loan for vehicle repossessed).

FOR MONTHS NOW I HAVE BEEN FIGHTING TO PROVE I AM ALIVE TO MY CREDITORS. I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO RECIEVE LOANS, CREDIT CARDS YOU NAME IT. ONCE I STARTED TO RESEARCH EVERY ACCOUNT I EVER HAD IT CAME UP THAT MED CHOICE AND ANNIE SEZ REPORTED ME AS DECEASED. I CONTACTED WFNNB BANK AND PAID OVER $2400 TO SETTLE OUT MY MED CHOICE BILL WITH A PROMISE THAT THEY WOULD FIX MY REPORT AND PUT ME AS SETTLED. SINCE THEN I HAVE GOTTEN NOTHING AS PROMISED. I AM STILL SEEN AS DECEASED ALL THREE CREDIT COMPANIES LIKE TRANS UNION ETC ARE LOOKING INTO THIS AND I HAVE GOTTEN NOTHING TAKEN CARE OF.
