On the May 4th I made an arrangement with the first national collection agency to pay off an old debt. They called me with a settlement offer and I agreed to make three, once a month, payments for the 23rd of the next three months. Today is May 7th and the first payment has already been withdrawn from my account. Kind of worried what their next move might be. what do i do?

I got a call from a foreign sounding name (phone number all 0's) saying a lawsuit was filed against me on behalf of Cash Advance USA. I never heard of Cash Advance. I have gotten PDL's in the past but am sure I settled them all. How should I handle this?

I have been lurking and reading for MONTHS now trying to get the courage to close my bank and account and deal with these lenders. I have received phone calls from a collection agency about a payday loan that I had 6 and a half years ago. They are saying that I never paid it. Isn't that a little bit too long to wait to try to collect now? I don't remember them nor do I have any records that go that far back.

i need to know why i can not get in touch with anyone at midland funding llc in regards to my tax refund that they have taken and said they were taking a portion of my refund, i would really think they could at least tell me why they did this after being dropped 10 years ago and just decided to take my whole refund/ i do have an official looking into this matter. please have the decency to let me know befor this has to happen. thank you, and your attention is urgently needed and appreciated.
