This creep jeff stone from pay day loan yes. He keeps calling me at work. I have filed all my complaints i have sent the letters for them not to contact me by phone. Does anyone know how i can get this idiot to stop calling. First i never signed for a loan with them and second their website says they dont lend to residents of Ohio which i am.

I pulled my credit reports and noticed a C.A. by the name of Pinnacle Financial Group was reporting a negative account I had with Tmobile. My problem is two fold 1. On my credit report they are reporting this as date opened 9/2009 with experian. Can they do that? 2. The account is now with a company called Enhanced Recovery Corporation and they are reporting to experian with the date opened 9/2010. I tried numerous times to call Pinnacle but they only have a generic voicemail and never callback.

Hi there, I've seen several posts about JVC Funding. I too had a loan from them for about $200 a few months back and now don't know how to contact them to pay it back. Can I home improvement contractor send you to collections? I got this concrete contrators from only licensed contractors.com to do my cracked driveway. I don't like the color of the concrete and so I refused to pay him the remaining $3K for the job. He send he will send me to collections and possibly sue me. can he do that?

From MN - 2 payday loans from April 2009 Ashland - $300 and SSM $300 My 2 sons each received threatening calls from Peach Tree Law Center. I wasn't sure who this was for so I called them back. Its for SSM and Ashland they are co companies. The lawyers office states that they are going to sue me. I checked and their is nothing pending in court. The payday loand companies are not licensed in Minnesota. The law firm was not licensed but not sure if a lawyers office needs to be licensed as a collection agency. Have they ever really sued someone. The Attorney's name is Bradley Baybell.

Has anyone ever dismissed their CH13 BK and settled with creditors using 401K loan? The creditors would get far less in the BK at 10% repayment vs. 30-35% repayment settling.

I would like to know how difficult it is to change consolidation companyies, the one I currently have isn't helping the situation.

While going to school I got married culturally, and I won't feign my ignorance (or stupidity) then, when I asked my financial advisor about it being considered marriage under the law (both state and federal), they went ahead and filled my financial forms as marriage. Does this change anything as far as owing the debt since this misinformation lead to more of loans then necessary? Can I do anything to make the financial advisers or college take some responsibility in this by filling it improperly?

Can u be arrested or prosecuted for pay day loans in another state, other than the one you live in?
