I paid with my debit card once. Now they took out $190 (without permission) and put me in the hole. Now I'm up to my ears in overdraft fees!!! How do I get them to lose my debt card number???? :(
I was contacted by a gentleman stating that he was from the law office of Hersey Kemp and that I owed on a payday loan from back in 2004 and that the loan was for 1278.15 but they would offer me a settlement of 740.28 and that it had to be paid by the end ot the month.
Hello, I have a question as to how I should go about eliminating my medical bills. I currently have 4 medical bills in collection. totalling in 2300 dollars. I dont make alot of money and cant get assistance with them because the hospital is in oregon and i moved to washington a couple of weeks before I had to go to the hospital. Not to mention I work for this hospital. So eventually after getting denied assistance I got sent to collections. I know its horrible and i want to get it fixed but I have been currently ignoring the collectors phone calls, which i dont want to do.
[SIZE=2]Judges, it seems, like the rest of us, are losing patience with slimy attorneys (no not all attorneys are slimy but you know the ones who are) who are intent on ripping people off. Which, whether its foreclosure or consumer debt issues, should hopefully start to benefit us "the little guy trying to get by".
One ray of hope in a sometimes dismal and challenging world!
I was wondering if SSM Group is legal to lend in South Carolina? I have been receiving threatening phone calls to my job from Gateway Recovery on SSM Group's behalf. The man that I spoke with offered me a settlement amount and wanted me to give him my debit card info over the phone. I asked him to email me the details of the defaulted account and that I would call him back to set up payments. I never received the email, so I never called him back.
