my wife opened a credit card(visa with compass in 2006.she started a restuarant consulting business as a 2nd job.she shut the 2nd business down in late 2007/early 2008.compass just called her and said she had a outstanding balance of 4000.00.my wife did set up a seperate p.o box for her consulting jobs mail.she closed thep.o box when she closed the business.we have a home address and have not recieved any statements from compass in the last 3 yrs.we will pay the bill as we have excellent credit.can we negotiate a settlement to try to get the late fees/29% interest stopped until paid in full

I'm going through debt settlement with a number of credit card banks. I am the primary card on the accounts that I am trying the settle. Even so, I have obtained a credit card for these accounts for my wife also. Question is, even though I am the primary account holder will my wife have negative credit issues also because she is listed as a card holder on the account????? I was sued by arrow on an account that they had no doc's..appeared by myself in michigan..judge dismissed...now having to get copy of dismissal off my credit report..arrow will still not remove even thought they lost..am going to have to sue again..suggest you report to the FTC their actions an any other gov agency...the firm is a scam...

Why are they calling me for me to get ahold of my neighbor that I don't even know? Maybe he's not answering their calls because he doesn't want to deal with them but, it's not fair for them to call me and ask me to do their dirty work! Is there anything I can do about that?
