Northway has been taking money sometimes twice per pay for a loan that I am not aware of .Please tell me how to settle this matter so that I can handle my real debts.

I have a lawsuit filed against me (court date set) from a collection agency on a charged-off Cash Call loan. My question is this. I did not opt out of arbitration in the original CC loan, and the loan documents state that arbitration wil survive any transfer, sale or assignment of my Note, or any amounts owed on my account, to any other person or entity. Should I wait until my court date and ask the judge to dismiss based on the arbitration clause, or should I write the courts before my court date and request a motion to compel arbitration? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How reputable is this company? I do not want bankruptcy - just help dealing with credit card companies who do not want to help.

Hi, I had to use my Schwab/FIA card services Visa for some recent medical expenses. Currently I owe about $600.00 but have a credit limit of $27,000 due to previous savings and excellent credit rating (over 800 score). Well now I have no savings left, no income (none for over 5 years) and I haven't had to pay income tax for over 5 years due to not earning over $6000 since 2005. I don't want to ruin my credit or file bankruptcy due to a$ 600 credit card balance but I have absolutely no way to pay this off.

I have 30 days to dispute the validity of the debt or any portion thereof, this office will assume this debt is valid. I f you notify this office in writing within 30 days from receiving this notice, that you dispute the validity of the debt, the office will obtain verification of the debt or obtain a copy of a judgement, if one exists." I'm a little confused over this????

Hi, I am currently paying on 4 separate loans totaling around $60,000- I would very much like to consolidate this debt- I AM NOT a homeowner and I am currently collecting unemployment (NJ) but I am still managing to pay more than the minimum amount on each of these loans- I have good credit- in the mid to upper 700's My goal is to maybe get a 10- 15+ year loan and pay around $500- $600 a month Is this even possible??? AS I said I am collecting unemployment, just started a few months ago Thank you KC

Update... We went to the second case management on Nov. 6th and the Lwayer representing LNVN still failed to provide the Chain of assigment. The judge set up the trial date for March 1st, 2011 and said to file a motion to dismiss the case if the lawyer does not provide the documents requested 60 days prior to the trial. Now he turned around and sent a generic computer print out showing the Resurgent Capital History with many campanies including LNVN on Dec 13th to prevent me from filing the motion as the judge sugessted.

Ok im in texas and im in trouble with payday loans one has already hit my bank and the bank closed my account and i cant redo ck n go bc the account is closed so three more nsf chks will hit a closed account .Can i go to jail for this/will they be considered hot chks,or a defaulted loan(s)?

So I made it my new years task to clean up my credit and get it back together. I remember I had 1 item in collections when i last viewed my credit report august of 2010. I recently checked it because I wanted to get the info from that collection and try to offer a PTD or something. When i checked it just a few days ago my credit score rose 59 points and I can no longer find the collections item there. The only thing it shows is 3 potentially negative items, all 3 I remember are from years ago and are all paid and closed.

Is it possible to consolidate debt from multiple sources such as: Bank fees, past utility bills, past over due rent, Medical bills?
