we started getting calls from wfnnb 2 week ago,also from a company called ads,saying we owed them money.neither could tell us any thing about the account,only that we owed them money from 17 years ago. we have never had an account with these people. i asked if maybe they had us mixed up with my brother and his wife,who split up 3 years ago,they could not. my brother stayes 3 houses down from me on the same street,one #different in his ss#,his birthday is in the same month as mine ,and his wifes first name is the same as my wifes.

Can anyone tell me if CashNetUsa is licensed in the state of Ohio? I did a search and from what I found it does not look like they are permitted to issue payday loans in Ohio, but I could have read it wrong. Also, Ohio laws state that the maximum allowed to borrow is $500, but they loaned me $1000, can I prevent them collecting interest on that extra $500? I also noted in the laws that consumers can have 6 months to repay but they aren't offering me that long to repay. When I speak with their reps I feel like I am speaking to a Stepford Wife!
