I have filed complaints with the FTC, Missouri AG, Delaware BBB, Delaware Bank Commissioner aganist Eastside Lenders. I have gotten confirmations from all of them. I took at loan from them fro $1000 and paid back $2450. I have demanded a refund. EL will not respond to any emails so today I called them, she confirmed that yes they have received complaints in their office and "is not a liberty to discuss with me any futher". Do any of the experts out here any further advise for me to follow to pursue getting a refund?? Thank you !!

I ALSO TOOK OUT A PAYDAY LOAN THAT KEPT BEING EXTENDED NOW I AM GETTING CALLS FROM OFFICER JOHNNY MARSHALL/JOHNNY MILLER ALL DIFFERENT # AT WORK SAYING HE IS FROM CRIME PREVENTION.... Called two Bank of Americas DMP's they route calls to. Debt free America says they get will get an average of 9% between six cc's. (will not give me exact rates until I sign up) The other Money Management International DMP gave exact interest rates for each card ranging from 2% to 6% however states theses banks may come back with higher rates but 92% of the time rates come back as accurate. Any advise?

I had a store front PDL that they put through my account before i got paid after telling me they would hold it. MY bank sent it back. I have 3 of them out and just by not being able reloan with one I cant pay any of them off. I also am at point where i cant pay my bills cause im robbing peter to pay paul. They are evil. I borrowed 300.00 and they said they renewed my loan and now I owe 510.00. They have already deducted 180.00 from my account so therefore I will have paid them 690.00 (390.00) over what I borrowed. There has to be a law against this somewhere. At the time I really needed this money and now I wish I had just suffered the consequences, I would have come out cheaper. I'm in the state of Louisiana.

I have a charged off credit card that went to a CA and now they sent it to a law office to collect the debt. I want to settle this account, but I've never talked to a debt collector before. What am I supposed to say to take care of this. I want to pay no more than 30% of debt, how do I negotiate with them. I've talked to a few people, and they've told me that it is very hard to negotiate with them, that they don't like to settle. :rolleyes:
