I just got a letter from First national collection also i have called them but can't talk to nobody what should i do? Does this goes on my credit report?

Im in California and owe 90k. I am current with my payments but considering starting to miss payments. I would pay 20-25k for them to be gone. Last time I spoke to them 5 months ago they would only accept 45k. Do you think that 45k number would go down if I started missing payments? Help!

Capital One acct is still in house (barely) and they won't settle for less than 90%...HSBC is now charged off but they are the same even with the account forwarded to collections, hardly any negotiation and their collection company is still charging interest. I have called and asked for reductions and offered 30% of balance with no luck on either of them. Also owe Kubota credit the balance after a repo, and they just called and threatened a judgement. I offered 30% and they won't take it, will only take 60%. How does the judgement thing work anyway?

Hi.. I have 4 loans outstanding currently..They are DJR Financial, Ameriloan, One click cash, and Electronic Payment Processing. I have closed my checking account because I can no longer afford to pay them, so when the fees try to pull this Friday they are not going to be happy. I recently refinanced my vehicle and have enough money to pay them off completely, but when I called to get the payoff from DJR they said that this lender does not take mail in, wire payments, etc..It has to come from a checking account.

Has anyone ever been threatened with criminal charges if they didn't pay or that they would send someone to your home or office to arrest you? I was also told that they would call Social Services to take my kids so that there was someone to look after them when I was arrested and this was just for a collection on a $300 PayDay Loan. :confused::(

What form do I use to respond to a summons? I'm being sued by a credit card company. I owe the money, but want to setup a payment plan.
