How do I get debt collector to give me a settlement letter before they get there money??

Hello all, I have been battling my PDL one at a time and this is my last one. The lovely Lakota Cash has sent a wage assignment to my payroll department. Now i had already sent a letter to Lakota to revoke my wage assignemt as well as a copy to my payroll department. They have forwarded the letter to legal and I now await to find out if I will get my whole paycheck this friday. They said they will keep the wage assignment in place until the legal department makes their decision. What are my chances to winning this battle? Is there anything else I should be doing?

We agreed by phone to a 22% settlement with Chase today (about 130 days) on our 2 cards with them. It will be broken into 3 payments and they are calling us back later today to get our fax # to fax the agreement to and to get the routing #/acct# where we will be making payments from. We are going to use a secondary account to do this not our primary checking account. Should I get the settlement agreement in writing before I give them the bank #s or is it ok to provide them with the #s today?

So they have been harrassing me at work and now have started calling my father. I don't live with my father. Today a loan company left this message on my father's answering machine. "Mrs. ______, my name is John Higgins. I recommend you call me back immediately at 877-449-0957 ext. 767 or contact your attourney because we will be filing a docket against you." Now I know this is one of my loans. But which one? I have 4. No company name was left.

I have no credit cards, but we do have a reopossesion and medical bills and some other bills in collections. Are we still able to find help?

I have taken out 3 online payday loans with the folowing companies: mycashnow.com- 430.00 Salaryfast.com- 280.00 ACE cash service- 350.00 Horizon Opp- 300.00 I have already contacted salaryfast.com and told them that I was made aware by my states department of finance that the loan I had with their company did not meet my states regulations and was therefore illegal. They did not object and they cleared the balance on my account. I have written letters to the rest of the loan companies trying to work out a repayment plan that complies with my states laws and regulations.

Has anyone here ever dealt with these PDLs? I've already paid them over the principal balance so I'm about ready to send out my C&D letters and was wondering how difficult, or hopefully easy, these companies are to work with? Thanks.
