I have a civil judgement that is showing up on my credit report from CCB Credit services from 2004 for 425.00. I was unable to show up in court for this back then because I was out of state and didnt make it to the court date. Do I have any options of getting this taken off my CR? I dont even remember what the debt was for anymore.

Is it true that accounts will automatically "drop" from your credit report after seven years? Some time ago, I heard from a credit expert on the news that if the original creditor requests to have it renewed before the actual seven years is up, they can do so up to two times meaning that negative accounts can stay on your report up to 21 years!!!! Has anyone ever heard of this???:confused:

Ok, sorry to disturb you all on a Thanksgiving day but I am in distress and need your immediate help. I just got a call from my HR manager who is also a friend of mine to let me know that Ameriloans have sent a wage assignment mail for me to my HR manager. I stay in Florida and know that they are illegal in my state. From what I have read here, I know that wage assignments are voluntary and I have revoked all assignments. In spite of that, how can they send this mail to my HR department? What shall I do now?

Hi, I received a letter from AAC, saying they bought my debt from Bally Pacwest/Daiwa, I am living out side of the US for 20 years. Never had such a contract or membership, etc. Could you advise me please? Thank you.

I don't remember authorizing a deposit into my bank account. I do not have the money to be taken back out of my account on the Dec 3rd. I do not wish for this money to stay in my account if it all needs to be paid back right away! Please remove this now.
