I was sued in the spring of 2002 and a judgement was entered in Aug 2002. The attorneys tried to collect in the fall of 2010. However, in Ga. the expiration date of the judgment is 7 years. Now I think that the same company is sueing me again. Can they do this ?

So as I am reading through the forums, let me get this straight: internet pdls are illegal in alabama (and from what I can see most charge more for fees than alabama allows)? So I only have to pay the principle that I borrowed, which i have no problem doing, it's just that they were eating my paychecks every two weeks and I have next to nothing left. Ok so collect500 responded: basically they said I signed the docs, but they will let me out because everyone is experiencing "hard times"...whatev. As long as I am out and done! Then they said they would credit my acct. with the overpaid money. well...sorry that acct. is closed! And I will not give you another one! They sent an email stating my acct. is paid in full and that they will not pursue collections etc. and that the overpaid amt. has been sent via ach. I promptly sent a response asking for the check to be sent to my address...we will see if that ever happens.

Unfortunately I took a loan from ABC pay day loan who sent my a loan from pay day yes who sent me a loan from fast cash advance. All of these are pretty much one in the same. hi all, if you have a moment please help me with some advice:) i was in college 1996 to 2000 as a foreign student. university gave me fin aid for about 3500$, i signed the promissory note in 1998 (did not even have a SS# then)but was never able to pay that debt. i dropped out, moved on. last time a CR tried to collect on that debt was in 2000/2001. this debt never came up on any of my files although inquiries from CRs did a few times over the years. Today I received a letter from a new CR titles SECOND NOTICE and asking to recover almost 40 grand for this college!

We filed bankruptcy and debt was dismissed. Still get calls from these jerks.

does anyone have info on excalibur I LLc? they have a judgement against me and i havent had any luck trying to get info on them? they address i have , they are not at and i cant find a phone number for them! if i can not locate these people how do i get rid of this judgement?

I see there are several complaints with this company. I ttok out a PDL on 4/14/2010 under the impression that I had 30 days to repay the loan. I also thought the 90 refinance fee was due after the first 30 days if I wanted to refinance. However they have taken 90 dollars from my account every two week which mean I have paid the loan amout at least twice since then. I live in Washington Dc is there anything I can do to stop this I really feel as if I am beeing ripped of greatly.. Please advise!:confused:
