I'm a resident in Pa. a payday loan wordker called me and said that they spoke with the office general in regards to a defaulted loan I called and spoke with the office generl about this matter she told me they don't handle payday loan that's more of a collection thing. How do I mkeep them from harassing me with this.

I was online getting some other information and found that a collection agency filed a case against me about a two weeks ago and a pretrial date is set for two weeks from now. I see under dockets a statement of claim, and some affidavit, what the heck is all this and how can a pretrial date be set and no one has contacted, no subpoena and I've obviously never heard of this company. Can someone please explain what is going on?

I am doing a shortsale on my house in CA. The amount I owe is $400K and the shortsale amount is $300K. Basically, my credit report will be hit HUGE by the shortsale. I have more than $100K in credit cards and past due on some of them. I am thinking of doing debt settlement and get out of the debt sooner. I don't think my credit will hurt anymore in debt settlement than the short sale. So my thinking is to get the credit rating hit at one time and become debt free.

What am I being billed for?

I'm 32 and would like to buy a house for my son and I next year, so I'm trying to repair my credit. I haven't used or opened credit for anything in the last 4 years. I have several listings on my CR with the status of being closed including 2 with Asset Acceptance a collections company. I haven't made payments on any credit within the last 3 years or even spoken to any of the original creditors or the collections agencies. They call all the time I'm just not an answer the phone kind of person, but the calls says someone has bought the accounts?

My house is going thru foreclosure I am getting harassed by creditors. I triued to file chapter 13 but would have to bring my wife into it so I had it dismissed. I have a decent job but have zero credit and defaulted on every card and bank loan. How do I strucuture a settlement with all creditors to get this resolved and still have money to live? I need someone to help me and tell me what to do? Are there people like that. I get certified letters all the time but never pick them up. Please help

:confused:The problam I have is every time a make a settlemet with a Credit card company and am paying on it, out of the blue they just up and sell the debt to another CA and the new CA will not keep the same settlement what can I do

my sister has incurred a lot in student loans and my dad co-signed on them. she can not make payments and my dad is permanently disabled. can they take away his house if it goes into default?

i have a vehicle i stopped making payments on...i researched n found that voluntary repo will do the same to u credit...so i kept the vehicle never hiding it waiting for it to be repossed....its been 2 years now and i still have the vehicle....i am sure it has been charged off but what are my options???
