I have been receiving phone calls concerning a debt. The only problem is I am not the person your agency is calling. I don't know where my number came from, but I can assure you we have no outstanding debts. I have tried calling the number left on the answering machine 866-388-1224 and no one calls back to correct this situation. I realize you are in the busines to collect monies owed, but before you start leaving messages on an answering machine, perhaps you should be sure you are contacting the correct party. I would greatly appreciate for these calls to STOP!

:confused:My 17 year old son took his friends car and drove without a license. He wretched the car and police got involved. He was taken to court and put on a three month probation. The Car owners insurance company asked us to pay for the the co pay and deductible amounting to $3294.53. The judge had told us that if the victim came out with the cost of the damage they would get my son a job in the juvinal court so that he can pay for the damages.

how does one deal with the bank to pay off that "debt" they have??

Ok heres the story... back in 2003 i went to college for a little over a year. I dropped out and really didnt know what i was getting myself into... eventually back in 2006, i enlisted in the military. during those 3 years prior and 3 years after i have been moving around and generally very hard to get in touch with. This has lead to a bunch of credit trouble, naturally. Well my new CA is creditors interchange. I have read quite a bit on these forums about this company. My problem is this.... The only original papers I have state I took out a loan in 2003 for $16k.

I am wondering what to do... I owe over $2000 for an old credit card, I haven't gotten anything in the mail for a long time. I just got a call from a law firm, they are trying to collect the debt I owe. I do not know what to do? I still have not received anything in the mail from them yet.

My mother has recently received a court summons for January 13th, 2011. She's being sued by a local law firm for the amount of $726 plus $67 interest accrued in the past months and $125 for lawyer fees. The creditor is HSBC and she's been behind for about 6 months now. We're working with a settlement company and they've left messages but the law firm hasn't returned the calls. To be honest, I'm very upset because she's being sued for such a little amount and we could easily work out an agreement. They're probably expecting us not to show up in court so they can win automatically.

Hi. I have several pd loans that I am trying to pay off. One company's amount keeps going up because they said I missed a payment, although my $90 refi fee just cleared. I now owe that company $510, even though my loan was for $200. I am trying to pay off the loans and have agreements with 3 of the 5 companies; but how much is too much? I will never take a pd loan again; but I also don't want to spend 6 months paying them off.

I have a bunch of payday loans and not enuogh money to pay them off. Is there anything I can do?
