I am trying to figure out the best way to attack the payday loans I have. I currently have: CashJar - owe $550 Think Cash - owe $600 Upfront Cash - owe $450 Upfront Payday - owe $585 EZ Payday - owe $325 Lakota Cash - owe $292 I live in the state of VA....are any of these lenders illegal? Would it be best to work with a consolidation company?

I live in California, and i have recently pulled my credit to find that I have some outstanding bills i was un aware of. All are medical bills, since i have been in and out of the hospital since 2004.

I need to know if Cash in a Wink is legal in Pennsylvania. I am about $23000 in debt. (2 citi credit cards) I am making all payments on time but will not be able to continue as I was diagnosed with cancer in July. My only income is my social security check. They are calling and threatening me about Cash Jar. Said there is a civil suit pending. They were very rude, keep calling my work and saying they are faxing paperwork to my place of employment today. I tried to ask her for verification and she just kept rattleing very fast and said I am guilty. Any advice?
