Has anybody had ANY luck with snowballing?? I have been reading about it and found a website that figures snowballs for you. whatsthecost.com I have 6 payday loans and decided I could comfortably afford to pay $300 per month to get out of my mess. Of couse , this means that I can only pay $50 per month to each company. Does anybody think there is any hope that the companies will go for my plan if I put it in writing?? With the plan I have, I'd start having some of them paid off by the end of March and everyone paid by the end of July.

I am in a process of filing cases against some payday companies. I live in PA and just spoke to the department of banking today. I sent e-mails to all lenders, I used the sample letter from this forum, Pack Management replied with call us and the number. I sent another e-mail saying that as I already said I will only communicate via e-mail. then I got a response saying they can only help me if I call. Is there something you suggest I do? I'm closing my account ASAP so maybe they'll reply to my e-mail after that.

I owe approximately 1,300.00 on a Direct Merchants (now HSBC) credit card and approximately 11,000 to Beneficial. I am now about 40 days late on payments and have sent both creditors a settlement letter, crafted from your DIY section. I have received acknowledgements of the letters from both companies asking me to call them. I am trying to settle for 400.00 on the DM and 2,100 on the Beneficial loan. How should I handle the telephone calls? I don't want to come across too pushy, but I'm not going to let them run over me either. Just would like some advice before I plunge in.

I keep getting calls for a Laverna Wright and I have no IDEA who it is. I'm sick of getting calls for this person. I have told them so many times that I have no affiliation with this person but continue to get calls. It's frustrating because I get calls while assisting my kids with homework, cooking/eating dinner, or other family activities. I have fielded over 150 calls for Laverna Wright and this person has absolutely no affiliation with my family. The last name is common that is the only commonality.

they have a judgement on my credit report from a sears card that they said i havent made a payment on since oct. 2002, i thought this was paid in full when i refinanced my house but they are claiming i didnt, i tried contacting sears but they dont have the information anymore, after making 5 more phone calls, i got ahold of an attorney that is handling my case for them, i would like to get this taken care of, im trying to buy a house and this is the only thing holding me back, any suggestions?

Credit Bureaus are international. Should the government of each country make them responsible for making every report that they get is correct and not the consumer. We as consumer have to take the time and money to ensure that every report on our credit is correct.
