I called the number and spoke with a man named John Blackwell from CRS.

Hello everyone! It has been a while since I have been on here and didn't think that I would ever need to come back. But anyone now I am 7 weeks pregnant with my first child, unmarried but with the father of my child. He is in debt like me. I have payday loans totalling more than $2000. I have a car note that is behind two months. I have a few things that have bounced. Not to mention credit cards, unsecured loans and a judgment out there. I have debts totalling more than $30,000 not to miss out on the student loans I have. I only have an income of 2800.00 per month. I am stressed out, tired.

I have been living abroad (Europe) for over 20 years but this company is sending letters to my mother's house in the US, addressed to me, saying I owe $2870.41 but that they are graciously letting me pay $861.12 in six (6) payments starting 11/22/10. I told my mother to ignore them as it is obviously fraudulant (or my identity has been stolen) and to send me the letters so I can sort it from Europe. Please can you tell me how to entrap them into either admitting they are lying or leaving my mother alone?

If a pdls website says they do not lend to the state you live in but they lend to you anyway is this illegal. Im in Ohio

Hello everyone. Ok I am needing some serious help. 2 years ago I got a payday loan through think cash. THey would take their payments out of my bank account every week or every 2 weeks. Well they got to the point where it was over drawing my bank account and got to the point where my bank closed my account. I had to pay them back like 400 some dollars. I then looked stuff up and thought I read internet payday loans are illegal in Ohio, which is where I live.

i have some advice for you... pay it yourself... why would you pay someone to pay your bills, when you can do it yourself, if you are broke, does that really make sense? there is nothing, no deal, a DSC can get for you that you cant get yourself working directly with your creditors. if you want to waste money, send it to me, and i'll settle out your accounts and you can pay me for talking to your creditors, i will gladly take your money to do such a simple task.

I recieved a phone call today from 661-532-8208, claiming he was was Shawn Smith with "loan group of california." They said there was a lawsuit against me. They wanted my lawyer's name and number. I said who are you representing? He said your not aware of this? I said no. He said let me transfer you to our legal department. 2 seconds later a man answered that sounded exactly like the previous. I am not aware of any lawsuit. Is there any precautions i need to take while talking with these people? Is there a website for Louisiana, to look up lawsuits filed?

I took out a loan with this company for $500 earlier this year. I have been paying almost $100 every two weeks for the loan and have made 8 payments so far. I am worried because the principle is not going down and when I checked my first america credit online account today, it is showing I am owing them $630. At this rate, I will never be able to pay it off. When I call to ask them why the principle is not going down, they always tell me it will after I have made a few more payments. At this point, I am not sure what to do. Do I close my account? I don't know if they are illegal?

I heard that if you keep on checking your credit report score, it will eventually lower your score...Does anybody else know this? And if so, by how much the scores are deducted?
