what will happen if i don't pay a pay day loan 4 years old under 250.00 from the collection agency CCR Associates

Took out the loans over the internet in PA. Now living and working in IL. Which laws would apply? Closed my bank account and have tried to make arrangements, but they all say that the loans have to default first. Just want to pay what I owe and get out of this mess

Hi, I'm posting in this forum because I think it'll be best received/answered here. I pulled my reports from myfico twice in the past month and noticed some changes I was hoping for (yay!). Anyway, I went to annualcreditreport.com to get my actual real reports and it tells me I have already gotten them for free once this year. So I called the number that was offered to me and I ordered them (EQ and TU and EX (FAKO?)) over the automated system.?* I didn't pay for them or give any payment information. The service said it would take 15 business days to receive my reports. Is this for real?

Hi All, Me and my wife just signed a purchase agreement on a house. We were pre-approved for the loan but the mortgage broker informed that there were three trade lines on my CR's that said "disputed by consumer". I disputed these over a year while working on cleaning up my credit reports. My broker is telling me that to get this approved easier, I need to get these "disputed by consumer" remarks removed. I have read several threads about other people having the same problem. My question is, what method have others used to get these removed quickly? Call the CR's directly? Online?

My husband and I settled 5 credit cards back on the spring of 2010. Two were with Citibank and 3 with Chase. We have not recieved 1099C's yet. Are those generally sent by Jan. 31 like W-2s etc.

My bank account closed up before i knew it with so many loans and i am now on thre road to recovery with a few loans to clean up. I was contacted by claims person from a collection company I guess by the name of Hoffman Swartz and Associates. I was informed by phone then sent an e-mail (On 10/15) stating this: That HS & Assoc.

I have been trying to clean up both my daughter's credit reports (I have PofA). My Bank of America account and Citibank account are listed on their reports. I've settled these accounts; however, they were listed as joint. They were never joint, only authorized users and that was 10 years ago. I submitted disputes to the credit agencies and they came back as information verified. Just HOW do they investigate disputes? If I write to both Bank of A and Citibank and ask for copy of application with their name, would this help?
