I have a $600.00 loan from ACE check cashing in TX. I was able to pay $120.00 every 2 weeks to pay it off but I did not understand they were saying I would have to refinance each time and that $120.00 was just the refinancing fee. They told me I have one week to pay or they will take more action. What can I do?

I am currently 77 days behind and owe 23K. I got an 45% offer for settlement. I got this offer when i was 55 days late and they are not changing the offer. I have called them every week but they are firm on 45%. They are trying their best to put me in a payment plan but was not interested. What do you guys think..should i wait longer to get a better offer. Any suggestions? I am also behind on 3 other cards( BOFA, Chase, Discover) with similar balance but no offers on them

I am trying to rebuild my credit. After paying off all of my collection accounts, installment loans and charged off cards, my score is in the dumps. I'm only 25... :( I am moving and would like to sign up for Direct Tv or Dish Network. Direct Tv told me that when they ran my credit check, I would have to provide an upfront deposit of $200 to secure service, and that deposit would be paid back to me in $5.00 amounts each month. Seems dumb to me, but I realize they do it to protect themselves.

I have been laid off for quite some time now, my spouse is on SSA and it just gets more difficult to handle the bills. We recently worked out settlements on our cc debt, but still struggle to pay a secured loan that was recently taken over by PNC (from National Bank). Has anyone worked with PNC? The loan is for our RV; which is now our permanent home. Each month we sink deeper; we have less coming in than what needs to out. I hope they might be willing to lower the interest rate; which would drop the payment.

I had a guy call me today from 253-242-9255 named jim threating me im going to jail for check fraud and two other felonys but i have a payday loan that im still paying and i havent missed a payment so i told him to take a hike and that he cant cal me at work and he told me to get a lawyer what should i do.

I'm in over my head with PDLs......borrowed from Peter to pay Paul situation. I didn't realize how a couple of them worked and got in a sticky situation. Since then I had to close my checking account do to unauthorized withdrawls taking me down....had to stop the cycle. What can I do now? I'm in Oregon.

A couple of years ago AMEX came after me for money I owed on their credit card. I had lost my job and was not making the income I used to make. I was able to find employment, but I am making about half of what I used to make and was never able to pay this debt back since I was trying to keep a roof over my head and pay utilities, food, etc. I did the ultimate no,no and ignored it. I did file a response, but when it was set for court I didn't show and AMEX got a judgement against me.

do you need to notify the trustee if you are no longer employed? I was injured at work and collecting Worker's Comp..we have a chapter 13 in NY. The payment comes from my husbands check.
