i need to change my account number before i sign

I have received a collection notice from Smith Debnam regarding a Citi Mastcard account that I owe $11k on. I have 30 days to dispute or resolve the claim with them. Do I send a request for debt validation? Do I try to call them and resolve it? I have roughly 5 days before my 30 days is up. If I don't respond, will they sue? I need my next step. Help!

Stop calling my home in regards to this account, I called the credit card company, and they told me as long as I start making payments directly to them, they will post them, and mail me monthly statements. Once I make the initial payment of 174.00, the balance of payments will be the monthly payment only, and if I can add more to that, it will be fine with HSBC....So Fuck Off

I have gotten myself into a huge oayday loan mess. I closed my account today so hopefully they will not do any damage to my account. The person I talked to at the bank said they have noted my reason for account closure and that if any fees or transactions do go through the closed account they would reverse the chareges.

I too received a call from an extremely rude man,giving an 800 number. When I called back I was told I owe an amount of $99 from a book club. I just hung up on them. I do not owe any monies at all. I must say, I am a little nervous as to how they got my name, etc. Should I alert anyone?

I paid a collection in full with your company and it shows that on my credit report, but it also shows that it is in dispute. I'm in the process of buying a home and i need that removed off my credit report immediately, what do i do?

I keep getting calls from takhar on my cell phone and if not answered I get very mean messages! Im tired of these bullys calling and leaving bad, threatening messages all be cause I cannot answer my cell phone while at work. By the time I do get home from work and try to call them, their offices are not open, so I wait til morning hours to call and they STILL aren't open. How can I make them STOP????
