Please folks keep records. Save e-mails, take phone notes print the contracts and check your bank statements. I had taken loans the PCT before realizing they were illegal. The last time the name switched to MNPC. Now that I've sent the letter they are saying they aren't the same company. However, when I check my bank statement this weekend the last payment to PCT was maked with a reference ID well the reference ID on the deposit by MNPC was the SAME!! I already knew they were but this is just one more nail. It helps not only to know the laws and your rights but to have ALL the facts.

I've ran into a problem, after I lost my job, I was no longer able to pay many of my bills, or pay my taxes on a new car that I bought, therefore am unable to register it. I need to know if there is any way to get any type of help, as I have no credit card bills. Most of my bills are from when I was married, and now that I am divorced, I don't have the extra income to help out in paying them.

I just called Solomon/Pay1Day and took a chance...told them I don't think they are following lending laws in MO and that I had 4 SMALL loans with them for a total of $600 and had paid them over $3000 and that I want my account closed and marked PIF! THEY DID IT!!! I just got the confirmation e-mail and tried to get into my account on their website and it says I am not a registered user! YAY!!! Now just waiting to hear back from UrgentCashExpress and will have made arrangements with all but Zip19 which I'm handling according to the advice I've received on this site!

I got summoned, can I still send a validation letter?

Asset Acceptance LLC (AACC) has been harassing me since July trying to collect on a debt that isn't mine. They couldn't validate the debt; I sent a strongly worded cease and desist, certified mail with return receipt requested. I have proof that they received the c&d letter. They have called me on a daily basis every weekday since receiving it. I contacted an attorney on Friday and am waiting to meet with him. I've read that I can collect $1000 for every time AACC calls me and that they may be ordered to pay the attorney's fees. Has anyone in this forum ever successfully sued a CA?

Ok, so I called PayDayOne and they said I could make arrangements to make 5 pmts of $85 and be done. CashNetUSA said 4 payments of $148.44 and be done. I still have to call one more legal one, Urgent Cash. I have another one with Solomon/PayOneDay which I found out that Solomon is legal in MO but PayOneDay is not. So, I'm not sure how to proceed with this one. I did the loans online with PayOneDay but the money is deposited and debited by Solomon. Also, I have Zip 19 and owe them $582 on the 15th.

I just pulled my 3 free credit reports for the first time since I received my discharge back in August 2009. To my surpise, Wells Fargo did not file my reaffirmation agreement with the Court. My 2nd mortgage company did as well as my auto loan company. I was never late on my mortgage and now I am no longer getting credit for paying on time. I called my bankruptcy attorney and Wells Fargo and they are pointing fingers at each other. I am stuck in the middle. I am thinking about reopening my case to get the reaffirmation agreement in.

Has anyone received a call from +55555 or 555-55. I have been getting them lately. No message ever left. Anyone know who it is?

Has anyone heard of National Process Servers? Their number is 877-239-0555. He left me a message and said that I need to contact them because they don't want to show up at my place of residence unexpected. If they are going to serve, don't they just serve without notice?
