I have about 3 payday loans out right now...Cash Store, Advanced America, and CashnetUSA. I have been paying on these loans for the past couple of months and it is getting to the point where paying on these loans is interfering with my bills. What do I need to do to rid myself of the stress that is being caused by these loans. Thanks!

I have unsecured debt under 5k, and i do not have a job at this time, The credit card is actually in my ex husbands name but i am responsible for the debt, his name was suppose to be taken off the acct but never was, i have filed bankruptcy a few years ago but they are now coming after him for the money and he wants to take me to court for the money, can my wages be garnished if i do get a job? I live in MS

Has anyone here sued a debt settlement company that didn't live up to their promises?

In a moment of stupidity I filled out an app for VIP Loan Shop this weekend. After looking around their site they seemed shady and I started to do some research on them and found this website. Man am I glad I did. Even though I didn't complete the form, they still called me just now to attempt to finish "processing" me. In case I put down more info on their application than I remember, I'm changing bank accounts anyway just to be safe. I have a couple loans that I am not sure the lenders are licensed in Missouri. Can someone help me? Cash Direct Express (Government Employees Credit Center, Inc0 Sure Advance I looked on the Missouri Division of Finance -Bank & Licensee Search website but could find either one of these on there. Does any one know for sure if they are or not? Thank you in advance!!

I took out two intenet payday loans earlier this summer back in June. I have made some payments on both, but I defaulted because, I wasn't able to make a payment in about a month. Each company made multiple debits out of my accoutn until the bank had to close out the account. I called the payday loan companies and advised them that my bank had closed out my checkign account, but I want to still pay out these loans in full because, I'm afraid of this negative activity my refelct on my credit report.

I am in the process of working out payments for the legit PDL's that I have. I am finding that some of them are suggesting that I get a prepaid debit card which have fees attached to them) and schedule my monthly payments this way. Example. I paid MoneyMart $40 cash last Friday as originally setup by the store. The next payment is on the 15th. So the 15th and the 30th are the pay dates, total per month $80. Money Mart (corporate collections dept.) is today saying I must go the debit card route or they cannot guarantee that my account won't be sent to a collection agency.

My husband and I each have a payday loan from a lender in Delaware and are paying about $400 a month in payments. I am out of work and receiving unemployment, but it's not the full weekly amount and my husband's hours have been reduced at his job. This obligation is killing our budget and we are jeopardy of losing my car and cell phones, both of which we need to find/keep work. How can we get assistance to repay these loans so that it isn't completely strapping us?
