okay i have good credit but $3000 of credit card debt with all real high interest.. whats my best option

Anyone know how much places like checkngo and check in to cash charge to cash checks. I have a large sum check I got from insurance that i need to cash but have no checking account due to not being able to get one . Was wondering how much ill get dinged to cash this (over 10k). Its from bank of america and I dont have any branches here where i live.

What happens when an illegal PDL company turns the loan over to a collection agency? How do I respond to that? I sent the letter to the loan company in Feb. 2009 letting them know I was not going to pay them anymore than I already had. I closed my bank account and everything. Other than some crazy phone calls, I never heard from them. I even gave them my work fax # and told them to fax the legal documents proving I owed them something and I would show that to my attorney and would respond accordingly. I never heard from them... but collection agencies, I understand are different.

After discovering this forum nearly 2 years ago I realized that 5 of my 6 pay day loans were not legal in my state. (Mississippi). I closed my bank account and mailed the letters, etc. etc. I did get 2 paid in full letters from 2 of the illegal lenders. . .and after some crazy phone calls from my personal phone and at work, I finally quit hearing from them. That was in Feb. 2009. Now, I am getting crazy, nutty phone calls from "First IRS". And now I have received a letter from First Integral Recovery, LLC.

I've had a payday loan with Cash Advantage through Rent A Center's storefront for over 2 1/2 years. The loan amount is 680, and I have been paying just the interest on it twice a month all this time. HELP!! I don't want to pay them anymore. I've never defaulted on a payday loan, but I just can't pay them anymore...

I have 16 negative items all are with collection agencies. With whatever I have, I can pay 12 off but I heard that paying them off will tank my score since they are old accounts. 6 are charged off and the other half are still listed as collection accounts. 12 combined are only about five thousand :o. 10 of those are with NCO (financial services and credit services) the remaining 2 are with six different agencies. The other 4 are almost $ 8,000 combined. Those 4 will have to wait awhile.

In 2006 I was 150 days past due to Citibank visa. I was offered (though CitiBank) to make payments for a fixed amount ($87.50/month) until the account is paid off and Citibank would not add any additional interest. I am paying the balance agreed upon through Client Services, Inc. The payment is taken out of my checking account and has never been missed or late. In August 2010 I checked my credit report through the annual credit report that is free. Under Citibank the report shows the past due dates and the account was closed at credit grantor's request, which is correct.

I am $13,000 in debt to PDLs. My husband is helping to pay them off, but we will be separating because of them. Got one to pay another and so on, and so on. We are in Texas and I want to know the best way to get out from under these. We have already closed our banking account, and have cancelled our direct deposit with our payroll.
