Hello, almost 7 months late on BofA $47k in debt. They offered a settlement of $12,000 over 3 payments. I countered with $8500 since that is all I can borrow from a family member for this debt. They said I have until Sept 11 before it goes 8 months and possible litigation or charge off. They also said that they could extend the Sept 11 date to end of Sept since I've been speaking with them. The offers with them started back a few months ago and began at $24k. Every two weeks they drop the offer by $2k.

I am not saying that I am not paying anything back ---- I am --- but I cannot get anything paid down by paying them all every month. Forward Properties and Vion I called Chase on two charged off and sold accounts to find out about how to settle. They said to call a company called Forward Properties. I did and they connected me to a message that said to send an email with my name, soc sec, original cc # and account #. The email was [email]findaccount@gmail.com[/email]. I wonder if this is a way they can prove that you acknowledge owing the debt, a way around validation in other words. The other company was Vion.

Hi I have 6 payday loans and trying to climb my way out.

I have a one-time opportunity to settle a debt, and there is constraint on time. So, will it protect me adequately if I have the company fax me the settlement offer with pd in full stipulation, rather than go through the mail? What if anything else should I request be in their fax? Kate

I sent emails to my 6 payday lenders on monday night and still havn't heard a word..is this the norm??
