I have several PDL's and I can no longer make the payments (I know it was a bad choice but at the time I felt I had no other choice).......any advice on what I can do. Has anyone been through any PDL Deb consolidation companies? Thanks for any advice in advance!!

I have 3 cc cards. the big one is B of A. for about $29k, USAA for $8k, and Discover for $4k. Started having trouble about 2.5 years ago. Signed on with TCA and made payments until 2 months ago. We are also pursuing a loan mod on the mortgage, and have stopped paying that. So where do I go from here? Should I initiate contact with the cc companies with the letters I saw on the site here? Wait for them to call me?:confused:

Hello again...it has been several months since I have needed advice from this great forum, and here I am again. I have sent DV's on the same debt to the following CA's (Resurgent Capitol, Allied, and Weltman, Wienbur, Reis.) without receiving anything. WW & R did send a letter stating they would no longer be contacting me as they could'nt validate/verify the debt. Last contact was September 2009 from WW & R, so I thought it was all over. Yesterday, (9/1/10) I receive a letter from Praxis Financial who is now trying to collect on this debt.

I live in MD and I took out a loan from Cash Net USA in the Amount of $1800.00 and found out today that they sold my loan to a company called Debt Management Partners... What do I do about this???? I have not paid anything yet and this loan was taken out in 2009... Please help me

Good morning! I am a single mother of three and recently went through a divorce. Going from two incomes to one with basically the same bills has put me in a huge financial strain. In trying to make ends meet, I made poor decisions on obtaining some (total of 4 now) payday loans. I cannot get out from under them and do not know what to do! They are costing me a fortune....money that I do not have. Do I close my bank account? HELP!!!!

Does debt consolidation negatively impact credit score?

Whelp, after sitting on hold forever with Credit Protection Depot I was told that they are marking my one loan that they hold (which is interesting they "hold" it now since it is not past due, defaulted or anything) as PAID IN FULL! YAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She told me that I had to contact Paydaymax about the refund I am requesting on the interest charges paid on the other loans. So they "wrote off" the remaining $350 I had not yet paid on the $750 loan --- though the balance was really $825.30 with interest, I had paid $400 thus far.

I can't seem to find anywhere if cashnetusa is legal in Minnesota. I tried looking on the Minnesota dept. of commerce site but I don't see it anywhere. Does anyone know if they are?

i have question i had a called yesterday from regent asset management solutions say i owe my bank 230.00 but they keep on calling saying that the are going to take me court what should i do they said they only take debit or credit cards i told them i wolud mail the payment but they said the want a debit card or a prepaid debit card what can i do
