I am in a bind and might need a short term loan. I know many pay day loans are very predatory. Are there any REPUTABLE companies out there that anyone knows of. I don't have much to offer in collateral and my credit is modest, about 640, so i'm not sure about a bank. Plus i'm not sure a bank would give out as small a loan as I need, and I don't want to take out more than I really want. Please please please offer some recommendations.

Hi I have over $9,000 of unpaid tuition for one of the public universities, and the CA added $3,000 as collection fees, I contacted them and tried to lower the amount and offered to make a full payment if the amount was reduced, but they said that the university will not agree to settle. Five days ago I received a call from Source Receivables Management saying that i owed $283.20. I have zero debt and owe no one so i asked what he was talking about? He informed me that the debt is to Excell Telecommunications and that it is from 1998! Now granted I signed up with them through a rep but got out as soon as i realized that it was a pyramid scheme( within a month ). I returned all materials and the pagers (yes, it was THAT long ago!) to the rep and heard nothing else from them at all.

I just had my bank account garnished in Florida from a bill I owed way back. The account also has my wages in it since I have direct deposit. I live here in Florida anybody know what I can do to stop the garnishment. Is it legal?

I owe US bank for 2 stolen checks deposited in my account aand were drawn off of while incarcerated. Approx $500 late fees,attorney debt collect carries to over$2000. Also 7 year old rental eviction due to incarceration.I'm older and wiser need to wipe slate clean. low payments are needed due to financial struggles. Help? Need to be trusted and given chance to show my honest effort to make right and be respected again. Need to clear credit reports so I may open checking acct again. rent a place to live without eviction an issue. I have great references and shown stability for 4 years now.

I have 3 internet payday loans. I live in Wisconsin. One is from a Global Group Holdings LLC ( Midland Companies.net) another is CMG Group LLC. I beleive these two are linked as while accepting one they emailed a blank contract and put an extra $250.00 in my acct. thus giving me an addition payday loan and since then both have been taking $75.00 dollars out of my acct biweekly. I have just closed my checking acct. and have a third payday loan out which principle plus has been paid. but they still want 750.00 paid back.
