Thought I was free of the internet idiots (closed my acct & told them all to take a hike back in Feb)- but I got a call today from Adkins Miller & Assoc. who told me they are a collection agency representing Fast Cash or One Click Cash (can't remember which as I was on my cell & the reception wasn't great. Anyway-- they have threatened to "file suit" against me for fraud. I live in Ky & know the new PDL laws. This loan was taken out in July of 2009 which means I don't owe them one dime. I tried to tell this idiot what the new laws said & of course she wouldn't listen to me.

I have a payday cash loan through the Cash Store in Texas. I am over my head and can not make the every two week payments. What happens if I do not pay this? They have a post dated check of mine with January 2011 on it. Please Help!

I am dealing with more payday loans than one person should be allowed. I have been reading this forum and i have gotten the courage to take my life back. I am in the state of Louisiana, so any advice you can give me please do.... I am going to the bank to close the acct.

The laws in Arizona recently changed making all payday lenders illegal. I have three outstanidgn pdls, two of which I took out before the law changed and one after. My question is if the first two were legal prior to the new law are they illegal now? Here is the rundown: The Cash Spot - original loan was $600 and i have paid them over $1000 Sureadvance - original loan was $400 and I have paid them around $700 Payday Max - original loan was $300 and I have paid them $140 I can't really close my bank account.

how do I compose a letter to a credit card company asking them what would they settle at to pay off my debt?

I filed BK chapter 7 and went to court on Aug 13. After the judge questioned me and there where no creditors there, He asked for my tax return and said he will hold it until Sept.. Not sure what that means, I have not heard anything in the mail yet. I filed for a waiver for court fees but missed that court date which was Aug 17th after I saw the judge. I thought all was on hold and was waiting to hear something by mail but nothing yet. What is going on? I do not know if I should call the court or not.

Who are these clowns? Received a call from a Mr. Perez -- if that's his real name claiming I had a debt with Citi Bank. I never recall such a debt, so I contacted Citi Bank's fraud department and they had no such record. With Citi Bank on the phone with me we asked what debt they were referring to & once they found out the fraud department was on the phone with me --they hung up. Be careful!!!These people are not who they say they are & they will threaten you with legal action if you don't immediately send them money.

I plan to put my apartment up for sale next February and up to now, I am on time on all my payments. I want to get an idea as far as the timing is concerned on how long I should go without making payments to the point of negotiation. I've heard conflicting advice as to when to wait to settle your debts. I've heard some say to do it before it goes to CA's (how would one know this?) or wait until after it goes to collections as you will have more leverage to negotiate. Is this true?

I have received back the certified mail reciept for VOD letters I sent out and waited 30 full days and longer. I started a dispute with experian, I spoke with experian and they stated that they did not have to remove it from my credit report. The problem is if I cannot get a company to respond to me via the VOD then how can I get this removed? Yhanks in advance.

Check all government web-sites, look at all the google complaints. If you are stupid enough to use a debt consolidation company you deserve the law suit you get!!!!
