My ex was on disability for the last two years that support was owed to me so I allowed him to forgo payments with the assumption that he would catch up when he returned to work (he had asked me to help him out as he could "lose everything"). He had missed payments through the years intentionally around holidays and birthdays to free up the funds for himself. Five years later and he refuses to admit that he owes me for the two years that he was "allowed" to get by without payment.

I disputed alot of accts on my credit report just yesterday, today i got an email saying they were all updated. How can it be that fast? I thought they were to go to the creditors onthe report and they have to respond within a certain amount of time to the credit report company their side. This was for Experian. Thank you.

I'm an 18 year old in a sticky situation with a landlord. I signed a lease for an apartment to stay at while going to college, but my dad decided he wanted me living on-campus instead at the last minute, so he refused to be my guarantor on the lease. I had only entered the lease with the intention of having a guarantor, and now the manager at the apartment complex is refusing to release me from the lease even though I have literally nothing to pay rent with (and I've explained this to them).
