Does this process work and how long does it take to eliminate the muliple payday loans?

I helped a friend get a car, he then couldn't make the payments and had the car repossessed. This was 2 or 3 years ago. I just got a letter from Michael J Scott saying he would sue me if I didn't pay the $12,000 difference. What are my options?

I am about 120 days late, BOA senior account managers have called to work out a plan. I can afford about $575 with help from family , but over 60 months (whick they say is the limit) I am about 4500 short of my balance. Will they work with me and lower the balance 4500 to get most of thier money back, 1500 of that is added interest and late fees also thanks Mike

Anyone else out there dealing with loan point usa????? I cant be the only one right now getting ready to deal with them...can I??? Ive read so many posts regarding this company in the last few days but always are left with not knowing the outcome....anyone with any success?????

I have court ordered mediation with Marcadis & Assoc for a Chase acct. It's within the SOL and I know some law, I'm a civil PI paralegal. What chance do I have to settle with these scumbags at mediation? They claim that I owe over $12,000 which of course is a lot of interest and penalties. I hate the fact that Chase took $25bn in bailout TAX PAYER money for over a year for them to get out of debt, but they don't afford that same thing to their customers. I tried to negotiate with Chase before I just stopped paying but they weren't willing.

Does anyone have a url were you look up and determine if a pdl lender is licenced in your state? Also, can you substitute emails for letters in regards to stop contact notices/cease and desist notices? Thanks,
